It's no secret that I've had the biggest style crush on Dallas blogger, Nini at ninistyle.com for years. In the blogosphere she is a true style icon in her own right. I recently saw a Rihanna repost from Nini on Instagram I thought "Dope! Rihanna's a fan too, it makes sense." I definitely see a resemblance in their sensibility and fearlessness. So when I saw Rihanna open the show rocking a fresh new cropped 'do and red number at the 2012 MTV VMA Awards, I thought of Nini's recent post featuring her apron top over leather leggings.
